My F2P Rune Scimi Beast

Alright, so I'm new to Sythe, but not new to Runescape. Recently came back after I heard from a friend the wilderness was back, so I started to train up a new pker. He uses rune scimi 100% of the time, and the idea is that he can outlast his opponents. I took some screen shots in his creation, but he still has a ways to go.

After a little strength training... Also suffered my first death, but here are a few screens of my pk action. Total loot was probably 5 2h's, 1 scimi, 2 baxes, but minus 2 scimis.




That's it for now... I will try to keep this updated as I level and pk on my rune scimi-er.

For anyone looking to do a similar build here is some useful info: my gear: coif, str ammy, iron plate, green d'hide chaps/vambs, boots, rune scimi, iron kite, and team cape. My inv is 1 str pot and 27 swordies. As for strategy with a rune scimi-er: I only 1v1 in edge, usually linger around levels 4-6. I only fight people who are within one level of my own, and always have full prayer points before every fight. I do a lot of trash talk, it helps if you have an auto typer so you don't mess up. I never fight rangers wearing studded or meleers with high def wearing steel+, I just run because they're a waste of time. I try to target range/2hers, range/baxes, mages, scimi/2hers, and scimi/baxes. The idea behind the gear is giving you the best def bonuses for 1 def, that will be useful against rangers/melee/magers. A scimi is fast, so repetition and high damage is what you should be all about, the idea is to out last your opponent. If you are eating more than your opponent is, it might be a good idea to back off- but you have to make the call. When fighting a range/2her, if they 2h, hit, and you are both low- your scimi will go in for the kill. Or if they are low, and try and go for a lucky 2h, that scimi will finish em off. When you are ready to begin a fight, pot up, and let the scimi do the work. Keep your HP mildly low, a really good situation to get into a couple times in the fight is where you keep hitting 100+ and they keep eating, because they are consistently using up their food. Keep track of your food, and how much food you think they have. The 13 prayer will come in handy for the 10% str boost, use it to go in for the kill- it's like wearing a second str ammy. It's good to put on when you think you need that extra boost, or when the fights coming to draw- if they try to run keep whacking them, that 10% boost may be very handy.

13pray -> 31 pray
40att -> 45 att (g2h)
1dung -> 63 dung

G2h would be really nice... Dung would help train strength too, could be a win win. I would probably have to level dung to at least 63 before I could get one. Alright then, I'll add 45 attack and 63 dung to the goals... and have some me some sexy g2h pwnage!

they dont dust shit tbh i myself have a g2h pure(45 atk 71 str 1 def 40 range 31 prayer 56 cb)and with my g2h i down atleast 400k a day so id advise u to turn it into a pure like mine and ull own for sure

 

this isnt 2002, noone will stay and watch you "outlast" them..

Got 64 strength, 31 prayer (not going any higher), 66magic...
Working towards 63 dung so I can get g2h, will post some vids/pics with some g2h pwnage if it ever becomes a reality!

My new goals:
40 -> 45attack (g2h)
63 -> 85strength (99 in the long term)
1 -> 1def (achieved )
31 -> 31pray (DONE!)
40 -> 70range (getting 70 later on)
66 -> 85magic (tele blockkkk)

My pure's stats:

45 attack
93 strength
1 def
40 range
79 HP
31 prayer
50 range

It's a G2H pure, too. It is extremely good in wildy, and I can get ~2-3 kills before having to go to the monastery to recharge my prayer (I keep pro-item and Ulti str on Quick Pray)

So maybe you can use my stats as a reference for your account and it's goals. I'm glad they introduced the G2H, I think it's a fair weapon to be used against Range 2hers.

*Note:

Do NOT use a rune scimmy with a G2H! Both weapon's best attack styles are different than one another. Unless you can switch attack styles right after taking out the G2H (which is nearly impossible), then you'll have to use a Rune sword. The Rune sword uses the same Attack style between both weapons so you don't have to switch anything. It is such an under-rated weapon, it does pretty good against your opponent.
