PayPal Limitation

Basically I created a PayPal account when I didnt have my own credit card and I created it under a false name. It got limited but now it's been 180 days and the funds have been released, the problem is, I'd need an australian bank account to withdraw and even then, they want it to be under my false name.

Can't you send to another Paypal, also are they requiring you that the BA name is the one you have in Paypal?

 

You will most likely not be able to take those funds out than. If they want it under that name, it is close to impossible to find someone with the same first and last name around here.

 

simple solution.
make a real paypal with your real information.... xfer the funds to it, withdraw them...

Wrong section. Get a bank account, there is no difference it is under the same name or not, you will still be able to make a withdrawal. But if it is a low amount - forget it.

 

For everyone saying to just send it to another account: the account is limited. Nothing changes after the 180 days except that they allow you to withdraw the money.

To OP:

What you first need to do is contact them (forget where) about using a fictitious name (that's not what it's called, I forget the exact word they use though). There is an option though to admit you used a fake name (under the pretense you were scared to provide your real name at registration), and they will allow you to change the name on the account.

There is no way, however, to change the country on the account.

 

its a long and complicated procedude to say the least. paypal CS sucks

 

even if it's limited can you attach a credit card to it and then xfer the money to a real account?

I am also concerned about this. I have a decent amount on PayPal that will be released to me in July. Should be around $400 USD. I have a bank account on the account but the account is not in my name. I didn't think PayPal could even see the name that's on the bank account? All they ask for when you verify is your bank's routing number + your account number. I don't see any possible way they could know who the account belongs to.
