Another Runescape hacking attempt. A fake email has been sent out to people with the hopes of the Runescape users to enter their username and password's. Do not fall for this scam.

Everyone remember that Jagex will NEVER message your Email if your account has been banned/recieved a ban or mute. They will ONLY message your inbox from the official Runescape.com site.

Any time it says your account is in the danger zone or something, if it looks too 'real' for you(lol), just go to the actual site(runescape.com) and login there to check your offences. If you are fine there, then you know 100% that the email is a fake.

Also, be sure not to follow the whole "You can be a pmod thing", sometimes sent by the same people.

You'd be really surprised how many people don't think to use common sense when it comes to situations like those.

 

Yeah, they click the link and completely ignore whats going on in the URL. If something like that happened to me, I would personally go on Runescape itself.

 

This is absurd for what people go through doing this. They can get in trouble with the authorities, though. It's happened before.
