Help me fix my lenovo

So I have this somewhat older (i think its around 2-3 years old)

Its crap loaded full of spy ware, spam ware, viruses, whatever and all the shit lenovo pre-loaded it with

So, I want to wipe the HD and re-install some form of windows.

Now this is where i run into trouble as Im not sure what OS to load on it

I hate vista so much, but Im not sure if it can handle windows 7

Im not opposed to installing xp. I am just going to be using the laptop as more of a netbook, so just internet browsing mostly.

I want the smallest fastest less bloated OS system. with no pre-loaded BS

XP is really the best option, unless you want to try Linux, but its slightly different as many thins you will have to do by hand in console instead of mouse like in Windows.

 

Your 2 best bets would be a small version of windows or linux.

Personally (going off a guess here) I think you'd get the most performance
and personal use-age out of using Tiny XP or perhaps XP Black. I dislike handing out my msn to just anybody but if you'd like further help feel free to PM me. Don't be shy.

 

Well, did a test on XPB with the same requirements you would have, turned out pretty good. It'll work for ya.

 

I suggest Windows XP. Windows 7 needs more ram from my opinion.

 

i suggest linux as it doesnt need or require alot of your system or ram as i run linux on my home vps

 

linux if you dont plan on more then web

xp if you want to play runescape or something play computer games ect
