shut the fuck up bro. who do you think you are. do you have any idea what just happened to japan, i bet not your a low life fuck.
sorry to go off topic there.

On March 11th, 2011 at around 2:46 pm a massive earthquake shook the Northeastern part of Japan though it occurred farther out in the Pacific ocean. The earthquake's force was measured as a 9.0 on the Richter magnitude scale. If you aren't familiar with the Richter scale, it is a base-10 logarithmic so, for example, an earthquake that measures 5.0 on the Richter scale has a shaking amplitude 10 times larger than one that measures at 4.0. The earthquake that occurred on the 11th in the Pacific was 10,000,000 times more powerful than a 2.0 earthquake which is your average earthquake that you hear about once in a while in California or something. An earthquake is essentially the earth crunching together; think of a piece of cardboard being pushed into a wall, when you let go of the cardboard, even though there are still creases, it still moves back into its original shape right? that's what happens after an earthquake. The earth basically adjusts back into place, and that's what we call an "aftershock." Aftershocks are generally less powerful than initial shocks, but the bigger the initial shock, the more aftershocks there are.
Now here's the second disaster: that ridiculously huge earthquake caused humongous waves to form which hit the Northeastern part of Japan as Tsunamis (just a word for huge waves). The earthquake and the tsunami happened almost back to back and that caused BILLIONS of dollars worth of damage i.e. millions of homes/cars/buildings were completely destroyed, which leads to the third disaster: the NUCLEAR POWER PLANT that was hit by both the tsunami and the quake. Nuclear power plants generate energy by using radioactive substances such as Uranium that are kept at super high temperatures. These temperatures are so high that they need to be cooled, usually water-cooled thats why they're usually by bodies of water. Now obviously they designed the plant to be resistant of natural disasters, but there really isn't much out there that can stop a 9.0 earthquake so right now the Japanese government are dealing with a nuclear power plant thats about to have a meltdown which will release all of that radioactive material into the air and kill an insane amount of people and forever infect that area so that anyone that goes within 10 miles of it will get cancer and die.

so there you have it: a gigantic earthquake that's causing gigantic aftershocks, a gigantic tsunami that was caused by the gigantic earthquake, and a nuclear power plant that's about to explode because the earthquake and the tsunami messed it up.

On that note, I want to go back to my other statement of..

Ew, Japan? Dirty..

Have a nice day.
