Lads i am in need of serious help, absolute mindfuck going on.

i have always kept an amazingly high standard of security, im on mac also, and always use paid trust worthy bot sites like rsbots.net, and all of a sudden.

my main
my mule
my pure

all just had their passwords changed simultaneously, im currently trying to recover them all now. but my mule's bank pin isnt active for another 3 days. and my main has a relatively moderate ammount of wealth on him, not in bank.

absolutely nobody who i dont know irl and can 100% trust knows my accounts passwords, or even their login name for that matter. so i dont get how the fuck this is happening!

i cant be keylogged, unless rsbots.net has suddently corrupted!? my mules password has never been saved on anything. serious WTF.

if all my wealth is gone i guess its good fight rs, the thing that annoys me im a business man, a figures man, i dont see 200m as 200m runescape gold pieces, i see it as $200, if ive somehow been fucked over for $200, i am going to be so fricken annoyed its unreal.....

i just managed to recover all 3 of them, but their still fucking logged in... cant get on them!

I've had something like that happen to me once, but it turned out to be a server-side bug that occurred whenever I tried to log in with any given account. Is it only happening with those three specific accounts, or is it with all accounts you try to access?

If the answer is the latter, I suggest you just wait a bit and try again. If it's the former, I'm honestly not sure what to do other than attempt to recover their passwords.

Mac, you can't get hacked on a mac. (Unless someone invented one in the past week)
Don't bother telling Jagex, they won't reimburse you.

 

That sucks. But did you buy the cash? If not, to be blunt, quit whining. You probably botted most of it (assuming this, since you use RSBots.net). You can get it back.

And Macs, as has been said, can get viruses. People just don't make them because the userbase is so much larger for Microsoft.

Macs can be infected. I don't know where people get this stupid idea that they "can't get viruses." The only reason Macs are often more secure is because they control less than 10% of the OS market, which makes hacking computers with Microsoft OS's much more practical and profitable. Also, Mac infections are much more underground, whereas Microsoft viruses/trojans/worms can often be very easily found online.

 

wow man, that truly does suck, all i can recommend is use all the information you know to recover. You and I are alike, i view gp not as gp but as $4....I sold all my money on my main was going to be like 160$ then the guy thats tranferring said someone signed on and dropped it all so i ended up only getting 30$ out of my entire rs career.=D

 

macs can get viruses.

No bots are 100% safe, Even paid ones.

What makes all of you think just because you pay for something, it's 100% Legit or safe for sure?

Did you have all of their usernames and passes stored on your rsbots.net data file? If so, did you perhaps give that file to someone? (This is a common scam)

If no to the above, how secure were the accounts? Was pass the same for all 3? Recoves the same?

Who knew you were using three accounts? <-this is the big question

It is likely you got keylogged, RATed, or gave somebody a copy of your .data.db file this conclusion is made based on the fact that I find it unlikely that anyone knew you were using three account. A random recover would not be able to tell which three were yours (unless you did something very stupid like putting rsn's of mule/pure in your characters notepad on rs)

1.) all three accounts had different passwords.

2.) only close irl mates know what accounts i have and what im doing on each of them, pking on pure, botting on main, flippin/investing on mule.

3.) i had 2 of the accounts stored on .data thing, but nobody has access to that. but my main has a bank pin, and my pure never has more than 2m on him tbh, mule's information was stored on rsbots.net at one point, this was before i xfered 180m to him, i changed the password after xfer and applied for bank pin. which was 2-3 days off of being active when i got hacked.

unfortunately i was just doing something on my main and logged out for 30 minutes, went to log back in, invalid password, as i wasnt logging out for hours i didnt bank my gear. which was taken.

heres the mindfuck, i have never stored any of my bank pins ever. but my mains bank pin was by passed, as i never had my fire cape/void/rapier in my inventory/equipment, it was in the bank. also randomly he stole 500 law runes ?
