Fire giants?

I was just wondering if Fire Giants were a good place to train, but more important get some decent drops. I saw a little while ago (RoW update), that someone got like 8m in herbs alone. Anyways, anyone have any experience with the drops/drop rates?

They're decent exp, drops are decent aside from effigy drops which are amazing as always.
I haven't been to them since the RoW update but the people who I've talked to have been getting pretty lucky.

 

Yeah i saw that picture to with all the rune javelins and stuff
Im going there next month to get my combat up after i get 99 RC ( Finger's Crossed that i do )

 

From personal experience, Fire Giants aren't too bad of a monster to train on. They've been pretty decent for Range training than anything else though, and they frequently drop Gold Charms. If that helps?

 

Yeah, they're solid exp, and the drops ain't half bad. I trained 70-80 range on them and it wasn't too bad. The side room isn't crowded at all, but the main hall room usually has a couple people in it.

 

They're even nice as slayer tasks.

 

What are you training at fire giants? If it's ranged, i suggest doing the biohazard quest and training at the caged ogres at the fighting camp.

It's extremely annoying. I was asking people from their personal experiences with the new RoW update if Fire Giants can give you some decent drops, and if they're decent XP.

They're pretty good on mains still.

 

I'm the guy who got the herb drops.
Was there for 4 hours the night it got released and made 10m+ in those 4 hours. Just stay at it, bring guthans, and you can camp them all day. It varies on drop rates, if you happen to have shitty luck, just logout and back in, or change rings, whatever you want to do to try and change your luck. I had a really good night that night though, 5+ Rune scimmies, 8-9M in Torstols, and 200K in other stuff including a dragonstone.

 

i've always liked fire giants for range training. rune items etc. but that was only on slayer tasks try something else. something close to the bank like tzhaar
