Alcohol Addiction

From the time I was in 8th grade until senior year I watched all my friends abuse alcohol and never said I would try it, but little did I know I would and like it! The summer after senior year I decided to go out to the bar with some friends and had a few beers but hated the taste and could barely get them down, then after a few it got easier and by the time I knew it I was drunk as a skunk. It was one of the best feelings of my life.... until I threw up Anyway I went on a 6 month drinking binge having anywhere from 10 beers or more a day along with hard liquor shots in between. I loved partying and drinking, but it got me so sick at one point my liver hurt every day and to make things worse I have Chron's disease! Anyway I have been sober for about 4 months and feel great, feel free to share your drinking stories.

Thank you very much! I got offered to drink up Philadelphia University with my girlfriend and her friends this weekend I'm going and said I wouldn't drink.... First time I will be around beer or liquor since I have been sober. Wish me luck

 

This isn't SFA material. Drinking has negative health risks, we know.

 

Do I like alcohol? Yes
Am I addicted? No
When do I drink? Our, 'social drinker.'

 

Love getting hammered at weekend, and a couple of drinks during the week.

 

My vote goes to occasionally.
I don't really like the feeling drinking gives me, or the after-affects.. but on certain occasions it's fun to do.
Like the 4th of july, graduation parties, at certain concerts... things of that nature.

 

I love being ass drunk.
But I'm only a social drinker, I never drink anything at home (no beer, wine,... with my meals etc)

But when i go out (like once a week) i pretty much drink till i can barely stand.

I think people that need to drink to feel good are pathetic.
But I drink on the weekends or when I'm at college. Don't get totally inebriated though.

 

I hate alcohol. First time i got drunk was a nightmare.... I was vomiting and everything it didnt feel good... I stopped drinking ever since and i dont feel like my self when im tipsy lol.

 

Personally, I don't drink regularly.
Due to the high level and amount of physical activity I partake in, I have to be healthy and keep my fitness levels high.
However, I do drink occasionally, like once every few months (like at Christmas, birthday, holiday etc) but not a full on binge, I rarely/if ever get drunk.

 

I'm 14 years old, and I started drinking a few months ago. The first time, me with two friends decided to drink some beer, so we bought 2 liters, we drank it in around 10 minutes, I was so drunk, that my friend told me I kicked him, and I can't even remember, then the next time I was drinking (even more beer), I didn't even get drunk. So in conclusion, I drink occasionally.
