The future of my range pker depends on you

Okay so i dont know what to do on this range pker

stats
combat lvl 54
40def
56 range
47HP
44pray

should i level up defence high with range?? i dont care about fancy K0's or what i just wana be a good tank and hit harder taking no damage

 

if you're f2p just leave the def at 40, no point in going higher till 99 range

if you're p2p, work on 80+ range and getting either a chaotic crossbow or a handcannon.
as for the def in p2p.. you can leave it at 40.. or you can uppit to like 70 if you really wanted

 

would lvling def up at my lvl greatly effect it? like i can tell that i have def and prayer vs other rangers they tend to hit less

 

44 prayer doesn't affect how other rangers hit on you unless you're using prot range.

the def doesn't matter too much to be honest.. with range it's alot more about what your armor's bonus is rather than your level as to how much you get hit.
with a higher lvl you can wear better armor.. but it would also cost alot more to use.

 

99 range all i got to say.

 

Lmao, your title was so interesting. Go 99 Range, 70 def. Maybe 52 prayer for Smite . 94 Magic for Vengeance, and your sorted.

Oh and you'll need fancy KO techniques, cause 75% of pkers will run/tele when you get them low.

Ah, that'll change things a bit :/. F2p pking is mostly around strength pures. Dunno how your gonna k0 people :L.

 

ranging defensive is very very slow and not really that effective
