Quick question - Urns

I've checked here and still can't find my answer. When you use an urn, does it automatically fill up from the respective skill? And for my more important question, when you teleport an urn away and it goes to Ernie, does he give them back later? Or did you just "use up" that urn?

 

yea as long as you have the urn iun your inv while skilling it automatically fills. dont know about ernie
