Something that should be counted as a spam post

Like honestly, I literally hate when people put that.
You put a buying offer, and someone just posts
pm me, like they can't do it themselves or something.
I understand if you leave a post on a thread leaving a description of an account or something, and then saying pm me if you wish to continue, but literally just "pm me" is retarded.

Just wondering if anyone else thinks this should count as spam

I believe you can already report this as spam. If not then I agree.

 

That's literally on almost every thread, so no support at all.

Just report it if it's your thread and someone says "PM me", but never actually did, and someone will take care of it.

I'm not against people saying PM me in a post if they have reasoning, or saying "I Pm'd you "
I'm against posts that simply say "Pm me" , I don't understand what the never actually did bit is
Maybe you think I said Pm'd you in the first post? Idk =p

and the post PM me, instead of I pm'd you etc is what I'm against

When you're selling something, and someone just posts "Pm me" like on a guide, instead of simply pming you, and if they're postcount horny saying "Pm'd you"

Example :

They could easily pm you. I see no reason to post "Pm me"

I agree. If someone is interested, it should be their responsibility to send a PM to the buyer/seller stating what they want.

There's a thread somewhere in the suggestions where someone ranted about various types of spam. I outlined like five different situations where "PM Me" or "I've PMed You" is important. If you want to look for these reasons, you can, but nevertheless there are instances where "PM Me" is a worthwhile post. It shouldn't be our jobs as moderators to split hairs.

Post count is 100% silly, anyway.

 

This has never really bothered me much. If someone says pm me i either usually ignore them or jsut send them a '?' in a pm.

 

I agree it's pretty annoying.
It's just as bad as people posting "Add me on MSN" or "Added on MSN" yet they never do.
It gets annoying if you're selling stuff and people post that, like why would I waste my time adding your MSN when you can't even add mine...

Fake buyers are bad as well but that's a different story

 

If it's your thread just report it asking for it to be deleted.

pkkid any unwanted posts in your thread can be considered spam report them although they may not be infracted at least the post will be deleted

 

Just report it, and we'll most likely delete it. If a user is constantly doing it, they'll be infracted.
