Paypal un-authorized payment

Okay so i recently sold some rsgp for irl cashies but the buyer recently decided to claim the payments as un-authorized so.. i dont know what i can do i did make him say on a note with each gift payment that the payment was for items he had previously recieved and that he was the paypal owner and had authorization to make the payment. I do have in-game screenies and msn logs but its not the same email that is with paypal, so thats pretty much it, what should i do. should i upload the picture of the in-game screenies, and on a note put the msn logs?

If he paid you with a credit card there's nothing you can do about it. If he pay you using his balance, just give paypal everything you have and pray for them to cancel the claim.

If he is verified you could try to track him down and call him too.

 

He may have used a stolen PayPal account... Your best bet is to ring PayPal.

 

Your chances to win the dispute are 20% if that much. Paypal usually takes buyers side and doesnt really care about seller outside US. I have come charge-backs and buyer won them all. Even if the guy who us unverified won the dispute against me. So that money is probably goner.

 

Simply put PayPal is very buyer oriented.
If someones claims an unauthorized payment, or chargebacks, then the burden of proof is heavily on you to prove otherwise.
PayPals form of "proof" is not screenies of MSN logs, but more like invoices.

Winning a dispute regarding the sale of virtual property is an uphill battle to say the least.
I've read numerous people in the same predicament as you, most say they've lost.

Don't waste your time on the phone with paypal they will tell you the exact same thing as they said to me, Sorry but if it has been un-authorized you will not get the money, Paypal do not offer any seller protection for virtual goods, suggest using player auction's in the future.

I got my E-mail today from paypal, same problem as you are having, they got a full $260 refund but i did not get my rsgp back.
