It has to do with start up cost. It is much cheaper to open up a Subway compared to a McDonalds.

You could probably open up 3 or 4 Subway stores with the price it would take to open up just one McDonalds.

 

you got cher ham turkey and roast beef on wheat bread with cucumbers lettuce black olives and bacon.

And all you have at mcdonalds is burgers and shit

 

Around where I love the subway are generally smaller than McDonald's shops maybe that's why they can afford to male so many.

The statistics may be true, but i'd bet money that McDonalds would surplus in profits more then Subway due to the shear customer base McDonalds has.

*not that subway is that much healthier, but it tastes like a boss

 

I hate fast food restaurants.
I used to like them until I ate fast food for lunch for an entire week.
Now they taste like shit.

 

I saw this article on MSN this morning. I was pretty surprised. Finally a good move for humanity... Subway is a lot better than McDonalds. Both health and taste wise.

 

About time. Subway is so much better=)

 

If you don't have 1 million dollars to start with, you can forget and have a 0% chance of opening up a McDonalds. Expensive franchise but good $ as well.

I'd rather eat Subway than McDonalds anyways, but we all know who brings in more money .

I like how Subway is expanding though, more options if I travel

 

Its probably those Subway cookies, so damn good.

 

Subways markets cheap non-nutritious food as healthy and beneficial. This is the reason why.
