Custom Last IP Listing

A new craze on the Runescape forums is to report 234234.xxxxxx.com hacked me I have his IP please ban him.

This shows people are willing to actually look at the last IP logged to their account, which might worry people who hack accounts.

Or, you are doing account training, buying/selling accounts or something that you don't want your IP listed to the person who logs in next.

You can effectively report a different IP to whoever logs in next if you know what you are doing.



The ability to send custom IP data should be worth some money, right?

On the Login Screen it will say:

You last logged in earlier from: cobalt.12345.broadband.com

Or something like that. When it cant resolved a domain it could say

You last logged in earlier from: 111.111.111.111

I can make it display whatever I want.

In the picture above it says:

You logged in earlier from: Trace-This-Ip-Bitch

Which is obviously not a real address. This means if you hack someone and they try to retaliate and ddos your or report your ip or something, they cannot as they do not get your ip.

2) a simply solution to this is just using HotSpotShield if your an account seller, or go on other peoples account frequently -.-

Essentially, no this is worth nothing.

 

This is relevant to my interests. But I have more legitimate uses for IP Spoofing than for hacking

 

Yes, you could hide your ip using one of those things, or you could insult the person using the ip field.

How does it feel to get robbed of all your monies and the last login IP is "Hacked-By-Ba3"?

People who are into that type of stuff will surely be interested in this as it will allow them to leave their victims a calling card mocking them.

Sythe doesn't have to support that. I am merely listing what it COULD be used for.

You can use it to hide your ip or advertise when selling accounts or firecaping or training etc. You can make it say "Last logged in by: Bobs Training Service" if you wanted.

I am just listing different scenarios that someone might want to use this. If I have to sell it as a service only for training or advertising that is fine, but people will use it for what they want.

Its like saying that since someone who is hacking may use this we will ban it. Someone who is hacking MAY use a computer too but those aren't banned here.
