Another Quake hits Christchurch, NZ

Watching the news and there is so much destuction. I'm sick, so off school, it happened less than a hour ago and most people where at school. I live in Auckland so this didn't effect me =/.

You could feel it in Wellington and Dunedin.

It was a 6.3 Magnitude and 5km deep 10km off Christchurch.

On the news it looks like they are pulling out bodies from cars and buildings that have colapsed.

 

yeah watching this on news now to. Im in Dunedin, i could feel it while i was in town catching the bus. no one walking on the streets noticed but everyone in the shops panicked.

 

I just heard this on the radio, lets hope we get some swell in queensland

I'm also in Dunedin and felt while sitting in Geography Sad to hear for Christchurch though

Christ church is full of pekeha, shouldnt be hard to rebuild.

They're saying about 17 confirmed deaths now. Best wishes to everyone there, hope everyone's family is safe.

 

It's jumped from 17 to 65. My thoughts go out to all who are involved, I hope you all get out unscathed.

65 confirmed dead and another 200 unaccounted for. Dark day in NZ.

 

They said that it may even hit double of 65 making it one of the worst disasters to hit NZ.

 

I live in NZ and it's terrible after all the deaths and amount of destruction that this Quake has done. Hope Christchurch will recover quickly.

 

its up 70+ now my cousin was in town when it happend... makes me think tho all theese natural disasters happen more and more often now , just 2 weeks ago my town was in state of emergency in QLD for cyclone yasi

I live in Christchurch, and the quake was massive. My school was center Christchurch, so I felt it real good. Schools got evacuated, 65 are confirmed dead, and probably more to come.

This sucks.

Thats depressing, I hope that not too many people died.
