How long for 96-99 mage and how high would that take my summoning level (currently 73)

Also how much would it cost?

 

I don't know the specifics, but I have heard that it is really really expensive. I would just high alch and do waterfiends for summoning seperately.

 

i agree. unless you are very impatient with a lot of $$ to spend. then go for it. however i dont know how much it would cost.

 

Rock Lobster Bursting would cost you over 1.5M an hour!

It would get you around 200k Mage xp an hour and TBH the money isn't worth it as you can go kill cheaper monsters and get nearly as many charms as Lobsters.

 

It's about 250-300 charms per 1k bursts.
So work the rest out.

In terms of magic exp, it's actually really not that expensive. It's under 3gp/xp, or it was last time I calculated it. Also, 96-99 magic really won't get you that many charms. More than if you had bursted somewhere else, but I know I calculated out for me to get 99 summoning from 92, I'd wind up with around 27M magic exp when I was done lol (I'm 91 atm).

 

do it for 1 hour and see what the results are. because they vary from person to person. if you dont like how much you are spending, dont do it.

I know bursting nets you about 140k xp per 1k bursts as well as 250-350 crimsons depending on your gear (If you're in full BRobes, SOL, Arc Stream, Wolp you can hit up to 400 crims with 1k bursts, but on average its about 250-300)

 

So I take it its 1k bursts/hr? Do you have to continuously "lure" the lobsters to you or do they start to come automatically?

Also, I'm kinda new to summoning as I just bought this main. I take it that crimson charms are the ones I want, but how many of them are a good amount for good xp?

 

You have to constantly lure them once they respawn. You will get an average of 100 crimsons per hour. As for the magic experience I'm not quite sure.

You will probably get 250ish TOTAL. As for crimsons I haven't gotten more than 150 per hour, but honestly it is all at random. Try bursting for an hour and see your own results instead of basing it off our random numbers .
