TURMOIL?!?! Is it worth it?

hey guys, for the first time in a while, i have the funds for turmoil. however, i here from different people that turmoil is over-rated. is it really worth the
150M? for some reason im for excited for soulsplit then i am for turmoil. i dont know. can i get some reasurance if anyone can spare it?

opinions please?

EDIT: how long will it take to use a gilded alter with 2 lit burners with 29k bones? would like an answer in HOURS.

Well, having had first hand experience with turmoil i truly believe it is AMAZING. Also, even if you don't like turmoil, things like soul split, deflect prayers and other things are very useful.

But yes, turmoil IS worth it.

Good on you, it really is worth it but only if you are going to use it a lot, if you aren't going to use it much then their is no point in having it but it helps a lot Pking, bosses, slayer etc.

 

yeah. all i do in rs is pk/boss's/slayer. rofl. how long would it take to get from 76-95? the usual gilded alter with 2 burners. 29k bones. how many bones per hour do you think i will get done?

 

That would all depend on how you will go about this.

What i mean is do you have the gilded altar, do you have a pak yak etc.

Also it depends how long you play per day.

TBH this would take you under 2 weeks EASY!

It took me around 5 days using what you have, same time but with a yak

No first hand experience, I'm trying to up my bank to the point where I can buy it. However, since all you do is pk, boss, and slayer it will definitely be worth it. On the time, you can get anywhere from 700-1k bones per hour w/o a yak or any BoB. So you're looking at 30 hours or 4 days or so.

 

I took me 12 hours exactly using frost dragon bones NON-STOP 52-95 prayer with AutoPrayer NX

 

how much is autoprayer nx? or is it free?

 

www.rsbots.net, No its not free but its the fucking shit. I run this like running while your being chased by a dog, Costs like $10 but its worth it.

Also with dragon bones it would take 3 days roughly or more.
With frost dragon bones I didnt use breaks so.

if you actually play runescape turmoil is basically a necessity for mains and high level pures

 

On my way from 70-99, I found that if I used dueling rings + house tabs + tortoise, I was getting between 1.1-1.3k bones/h. So it'll probably take you about 24-25 hours.

And yes it is very worth it. It's an increase of like 11% attack bonus/12% strength bonus/10% defense bonus. I might be off by one or two but the point is it's a pretty noticeable increase. Also, Soul Split is extremely helpful for anything PVM. It helps a ton with things like slayer and healing on minions at Bandos GWD, etc.

Definitally worth it, it should only take 3 days max. no point in botting it, as you're risking a ban for an easy skill to train.. And you would be risking 150M.

 

Turmoil is DEFINITELY worth it, I currently have it on 3 of my accounts (my main, my tank, my rune pure) and I've never looked back.

However, I don't recommend getting 95 prayer on a range tank, it's not really worth it lol
