Pking Advice

Hey guys, i'm currently working on my pure since pking has returned but im basicly looking for advice on how to pk and what to pk and what to wear when pk

So here are my stats:

60 attack
80 strength
73 Hit point or 730 what ever its called
70 range
71 mage
32 prayer

So yeah i would love some advice on what to get my stats too , and weather its worth going Zerker pure, but i will take anyones advice in because it all helps

Zerker pures require a lot more time and effort than 1 def pures or hybrids. If you take up that path, be prepared to do a lot of questing and spend a lot of money for venge/turmoil etc.

I would wear typical set up of black dhide chaps, vambs, rest iron and dragon scim/pray book. DDS or claws for spec and dscim otherwise. I don't have a lot of hybrid practice, but I hear mage/melee is a great combo.

 

Most of my wins in Arena and kills in Pk are with my M/M Pure so yah it's a fantastic combo.

I wouldn't suggest a pray book. If you are claw'ing it's not equipped while specc'ing, and you can't fight rangers with it. Rangers use those bolts that use fire breath, dealing up to 500 damage unless you are wearing an anti dragonfire shield. If you wear a anti dragonfire shield, it eliminates that special ability from rangers. Plus those shields are cheap and easy to get, if you lose your book it's annoying walking all the way back to the light house to get a new one.

A zerker pure isn't worth it unless it has 94 magic for vengance, 95 prayer for turmoil, and all quests for barrow gloves. If you don't have all that, you'll get beaten easy by all the zerker pures that do. Plus every time you die with a zerker pure, you lose a lot, though the rewards are equally as great. They can also pk deep with a small team, 1 def pures can't really go deep unless they have a pretty big clan. I love zerker pures, but since mine got banned, i can't be bothered putting the work in on my 1 def pure to turn it into a zerker. It took me two years to perfect my zerker pure, and to be honest, when i did, most people would be like 'i don't want to fight you, you have barrow gloves, fire cape + vengance'. But times have changed now, with all these rushers etc you can get fights easily, my zerker pure was banned back in 07.
