On topic- It is because there are some people in the world that only think of themselves when they act, not the effects they have on others. Or, they are acting in what they think is the right thing to their morale values, but to us it seems horrifying. Make sure you yourself think for others, not just yourself. Smile, say all is well, and the world may just brighten. It might only be a smidge, but it's worth it.
