    I'm Back After A While :P

    Maybe some bros will notice, but I haven't been on in the forums much lately.
    I've actually been back for maybe 2/3 weeks or more, but I guess that I didn't feel like posting in this section.

    I was planning on writing on what happened, because the doctor was being a shithole, but I seem to never do anything that I planned to do, even if it's probably nothing complicated.

    Anyways, december 4th; I broke my left foot in a skateboarding accident.
    I was hospitalized for 2 weeks, and was in a cast for maybe 4/5.

    I had surgery to keep my dislocated (now relocated) bones in place, and I have small iron plates and a couple of screw in my left foot.

    But everything's cool now, I can walk.

    But every time I get a check-up from the doctor, I forget to ask him how much longer will it be before I can run again; or if I will ever be able to run normally again.

    So I'm asking;

    Has there been any other sythe member who got into a situation similar to or the same as mine?

    how did it turn out for you?

    many thanks

    Try calling your doctor? It really differs from case to case.

    Hmm yeah haven't seen you in SFA for a while :p As for your foot... maybe try a podiatrist? (basically they are foot doctors)

    The foot and hands have a lot of tiny bones, if you are able walk and there is little to no pain in the foot. Then chances are you should be able to run again when you are fully healed. The foot absorbs a lot weight and pressure when walking or running. The difference is how much pressure the bones in your foot can take before they buckle.

    I am sure since you are walking while you are healing, you have been bending your knee(s) a little more to help absorb the weight.(probably why your walk/run changed and feels abnormal.) But if you do that you will never know if it will be able to absorb the weight, because the knees are taken more pressure now. So just try not to bend your knees much a for week while you walk.

    If you feel little to no pain then you may heal up perfectly.
