Word of advice

I was doing a trade and they wanted to record me saying that I was going to sell it to them over teamviewer.
Little did I know they changed the settings.. and they're controlling my mouse. I traded with them, they accepted. After the first accept I thought "wait.. wtf! I can't move my mouse!" Next thing you know, my partyhat is gone.

I'm such an idiot.. how didn't I see that coming?

Don't trade with gumbawl. - Karma will get him

If a trade seems too good to be true, don't do it.

 

You can still control your mouse with teamviewer if they are using it also. Unless you just sat back and walked away it shouldn't have been able to finish. Also ALT f4 could have saved you.

Yeah im hearing alot of things about team viewer scams lately.

 

No, they did something. I was trying to move it away, it wouldn't budge. If I was thinking 100% of the time, I would've hit the switch on my computer and turned it off. Unfortunately, I let the deal of 1.2$ a mill get to me.

 

You just needed to restart your PC, or just to forbid the other people from controlling your computer, cmon people wake up...

 

Never use TeamViewer with someone you don't trust 110%. Better safe than sorry.
