About to buy an Account IRL

Never really bought an account in the "New RS"...What exactly should I do to make sure he doesn't take the account back?

Let's just assume that everything security-wise is in place. Recoveries are set, email is set, 3 days of members, etc.

 

Do you know him irl? if so Tell him if he hacks back you will punch in the face

Tell him to remove, recoveries, make an document where he signs that he will not take it back...idk...ask a lawyer.

 

Ask him for a contact number, make sure its a landline, then you could reverse lookup his address online. So if he scams you know where he is. Besides that make sure no recoveries etc.

 

This seems best option really, he'l always be able to recover the account, no way of stopping him if he choses to, best thing you can do is convince him he won't want to.

 

Yes, get his house number.

 

Get personal information, early account information (Membership reference numbers), ask if he's the original owner etc.
