1 Def Rushing: G Maul vs Claws

What is more fun to Rush with? Money is not an issue. What gets more kills?

 

G Maul definitely if used properly.

 

I suspect claws are way easier to use.
However I have never really done any G maul PKing.

 

If on one defence, simply blitz, click attack with your G Maul equipped and spam click your spec bar, this is much more effective than Claws.

 

ah, just noticed..with 99 mage I am mage based, so 50 attack and 60 attack would be the same combat level...

 

Considering that you might as well just get 60

I suggest you start out with claws as theyre a bit easier to use for rushing, then use gmaul. Both are pretty fun imo.

 

99/2=48.5 x3 = 145.5 145.5-99= 46.5 attack level you can get without raising combat if you have 99 strength

To put this in easier to understand terms





So it will in fact raise your combat.

As for the question, G Maul is much more effective as you can hit 3 times instantly then 1 more delayed. Claws are easier to use, but the hits are slower so they have more time to realise what is happening and eat.

Claws are predictable and not always accurate.

You hit 3x in a row followed by a big hit of something else, it's a most likely ko.

 

The Gmaul is definitely my favorite. In my times of PK'ing, I haven't had a lot of problems with the Gmaul as a pure that I have had with the Dragon claws. The Dragon claws, in some cases, can be deadly but the Gmaul seems to put in greater hits.

 

I would say G-Maul because its just wayyyy more satisfying to get a kill with it and its super fast.

 

Claws are a lot easier to use but a claw spec can be seen coming from a mile away and can easily give them enough time to tele or tank with P necks. When you get good hits in with a gmaul your opponent is screwed.

I suggest attacking with a dark bow first without spec, use the gmail specs and then hit them with a corrupt statius warhammer if they are still alive.

 

Simple answer. Blitz > Dragon Claw Spec > Second Gmaul Spec
Really quick, gets most kills.

 

Gmaul > Claws.

Claws are easy to p neck, but g mauls are so fast.

Saying that, you need to blitz before so.

 

Gmaul is much funner and I think it's more effective if used correctly.
