    Special attack bar delay?

So after training my pure a while I have just started to pk in the wilderness. Something I notice is that when I switch weapons really quickly using the wield f1 method there is a delay on the spec bar, it seems you have to wait a split second to push on it successfully. This is kind of annoying because sometimes when I go to spec it does not go off. Any thoughts or ideas on this topic?

    Talking about OSRS here ofc.

Are you talking about OSRS? Because there isn't a special bar in EOC anymore.

K, for future reference, there's an OSRS general section http://www.sythe.org/runescape-2007-general/

I remember there being a slight delay when switching weapons and clicking the special bar. It's something you'll have to strategize around I guess. It doesn't seem like there would be a delay though, since the special bar itself doesn't go away when you switch weapons, but I guess it takes that short time to recognize the special being used is going to be different.

    Special attack bar delay?

Are you switching from a weapon that doesn't have a special attack, e.g. a crossbow?

It seems to be like that when I switch from a Whip to dds, its different because runescape 2007 doesn't use runetek 5 or whatever it was called, so if you're used to 2010-2012 pking, then you will definately be in a disadvantage.

I've heard rumors that your PID could effect such things as this. Not sure how much truth their is in that. From what I've heard your PID, or Player ID, is like a priority given to you in relation to other players on the same server. For example if you notice in a duel if two player were to click each other simultaneously only one of them will get the first hit. The player who hit first is said to have a lower PID. Also if you have a lower PID than someone you will see a delay in some interactions such as following someone. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not but just throwing it out there as a possibility.
