Guide to Flipping in G.E

This is what I know.

At the grand exchange: Find an item you want to buy -> Buy it at 10% above standard price -> Sell it back at 10% below standard price -> Right click the Grand Exchange clerk and select "history" -> Write down the highest number for the item (what you bought it for, at 10% above) and the lowest number you sold it for (what you sold it for, at 10% below) !! (notice that these numbers are not exactly 10% above or below standard - it's just what they're going for on the market currently) -> Subtract the highest price from the lowest price to get your profit margin -> Buy the item at a few GP above the low price and sell it back at a few GP below the high price (to ensure sales, or if the price margin changes)

Is there more to this equation?

You pretty much got it, nothing really more IMO try to find the 10% items (very hard) do anything 5-10% profit. Buy and sell straight away (do this all while logged on - skilling next to ge - constant profit beats that 10% when your doing (10 times the amount of trades)

Find 10% items is hard, i find with the market and ge updates can really hurt profits or make you rich. I sell out everything of value before I log off (unless i got the item for a STEAL (15%+) ITEMS, which in some cases I have flipped for nice bank.

What are good items to use to flip?

 

Exactly the same thing i'm trying to figure out I tried whips the other day, that worked out for awhile.

 

watch out cause items are unstable atm. wouldn't get into this until things stabilize a bit

 

Wati a few weeks then go in, right now its super risky - either mad profit or mad stacks lost bruh
