    I know I'm responsible, I know I fucked up, but it was not correct to take ALL my deposit. I need someone/some people to look into this and share their unbiased perspective and decide what is the correct decision here.

    Explanation of the trade:

    In august 2023 I applied for a booster job at MyPVM. They accepted me, however they transfered me to Probemas's boosting discord server. I'm not sure about the background of this, however Probemas's boosting service uses MyPvM's bots and everything, so supposedly they have an agreement or something. Anyways, I became a booster at Probemas.

    I agreed to the TOS:

    I deposited 200$ for the safety deposit.
    Everything was good, I did my job, I earned between 400-600$ at them in total, withdrew some money as well. Nothing special.
    In end of febr I deposited another sum, totaling 3B(~570$) for a COX role.

    I had 600$ + ~15$(unpaid) in deposit.

    Whenever a booster accepts a job, they put aside from your deposit, depending how much does that account has on it.

    Under the "Other relevant trade screenshots" you can find the whole discord talk with every piece of detail between me and the manager.

    So I will be short here:

    I accepted a job, then I outsourced it. My brother worked on the account, he was drunk, he lost the chins. This job was backed by 600M(yes osrs gp) deposit. Chins lost were like 40-50M (32k chins). I couldn't talk with the client that frequently, but we exchanged some messages.
    He did barely any progress, he fucked up the chins, he died etc, then he logged out. Next morning they removed my roles and told me they will take all my deposit (615$).

    Once again, I'm not asking for a full refund. I want to take responsibility for the account which was damaged with 32k chins (with 600M deposit).

    How they scammed: They took all my deposit(615$) even though the account mentioned above was covered by my 600M already.

    Hey @Kanye,

    There are no longer separate initial Terms of Service (TOS) agreements. By accepting tickets, you inherently agree to abide by the TOS in its entirety.

    The posted TOS is accurate and up to date.

    Regarding disagreements, it seems we are in alignment regarding the fundamental principles outlined in the TOS, as evidenced by acknowledgment of wrongdoing in his first sentence.
    I quote Jinz0 from the ticket screenshots:
    "I left the acc with my brother, he said he will do it. Eventually he fucked up, so I fucked up. Responsabilities are mine."
    "He did some exp, however he was drunk and most likely died with the chins."
    "He rarely did some orders in my name, not gonna lie. Told you, it’s my fault and I’m responsible for it."

    However, discrepancies arise in interpretation, particularly pertaining to sections 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15.

    From our Point of view the Terms of Service in question are commonly acknowledged and accepted within our industry, constituting a standard set of operating guidelines.

    Therefore, we maintain confidence in our position, believing it aligns with the widely recognized industry standards encapsulated within the TOS.

    Hey, @Kanye . The percentages went down for boosters and up for probemas, apart from that, I don't remember exactly if I agreed to THIS TOS at the start, however I understand by accepting a ticket you automatically agreeing with the TOS (they could've changed it even after they decided they don't want to refund my deposit, just saying).

    I've never ever mentioned I'm not responsible for this, my only concern is with the "unbalanced decision", as the title says.
    It's not regulated at all. Imagine me having 2k$ in deposit. Would it be fair from their part to take my 2k$ from a mistake which wasn't that big (I didn't scam, I didn't steal, nor did I bot - also, malicious is not specified in the 15th point of the TOS - The client had a 40-50M damage on his account) on an account which was already secured by the deposit for the chinning order(600M).

    Only this single account was damaged, so from my perspective, but confidently saying even from outsiders' perspective, withholding 600M (the deposit for the order/account) + the order's price (~15-20$) and paying me the rest (~500$) + kicking me as a booster would be the proper and fair decision. I stand for that.

    The TOS being unspecific for these situations, being unregulated and it having space for subjective decisions makes everything one sided.
    No deposits are safe if the boosters make a mistake.

    Thanks for everyone's patience on this one - I got some additional Staff input.

    @Jinz0 will forfeit his pay for that job & the deposit can be utilized to pay the damages to make the customer whole again - beyond this the remaining deposit should be returned. Staff does not find this fit for @Probemas to profit from this & the punishment for losing his pay for that job + deposit as it relates to the loss customer incurred + removing him from the server/loss of work is severe enough.

    @Jinz0 please consider this a very stern warning as I almost went the route of a TWC. If this happens again it likely may lead to this depending upon the circumstances.

    At this time I will be closing this thread - please report the post or reach out to me via discord if the remaining deposit is not received timely or at an agreed upon (reasonable) date between the two of you.
