Yup, I said before scammers should pay a one time fee for pardoning so they don't break even

 

i'd prefer the fee to be 10% of the amount they scam.

vading on sythe isn't even hard... if someone scammed and wants to make ammends and put forth the effort to go through the proper channels they shouldn't be punished. People always bitch about too many people being pardoned but it isn't as easy as people make it seem to be. Instead of bitching about too many scammers being pardoned why the fuck is nobody mentioning the many people banned for linking shit in a skype chat and can't pardon without paying out the ass to a butthur... whatever.

edit: and for people banned for stupid shit under $50 it's not like that loan means anything in the long or short term. If some 12 year old faggot scams for a membership code and comes back when his balls drop we should let him. People who scam for larger amounts don't even usually get pardoned anyway so the only people you're really beating out are the people who made stupid mistakes. Unless the scammed can prove that they were plunged into poverty by their $30 being borrowed for a few months just let it go (with a proper pardon as always).

If user A had 300 Vouches/3k Postcount (they mean nothing, but i'm referring to an example of amount of time invested to the forum) scams 1,000$ and comes back after a year to pay it back, he doesn't have to pay anything ontop of that?

Adding a fee decreases the amount of scammers and puts them at a loss. Foh with that second chance sht, scammers dont get a second chance on most forums

I don't want scammers to have second chances/able to pardon unless they're serious enough to be willing to pay extra.

 

Most people who scam don't have the intention of returning, the fee won't deter people from scamming it will just make the probability of the scammer paying the victim back decrease. If you want to make it similar to a loan charge a reasonable interest rate for each year the scammer doesn't pay back the money, however 10% is too much and it won't help victims get their money back.
