Some things you put in aren't totally accurate... But overall, a decent guide. Although, if you just aren't a charmer, an internet guide is not gunna help you much.

And the skater haircut is definitely not a must. I have short hair and I do just fine.

A few things you forgot to mention is to stand up tall, maybe even puff your chest out a little, keep your chin high, and add a little swagger to your step. These are little facades that make you seem more confident (nobody wants to date a self-conscious loser). Of course, this will only work if you are asking someone out that you don't see all the time (like at school).

Also, if she is with a group of friends, and she normally will be, don't single her out right away. That will just be awkward.
