How to jail break an ipod touch

Ok this is my guide on how to jail break an ipod touch...
The purpose of jailbreaking an ipod touch is to get a bunch of free
and cool 3rd party applications. The requirements for jailbreaking your
ipod touch are......

1. An ipod touch

2. A mac or PC with itunes installed.

3. Your ipod touch must be software upgrade 1.1.4 or 1.1.3.

Ok on with the guide....

Step 1. Plug your ipod into your computer and open up itunes.

Step 2. Download the Ziphone jailbreaker from http://www.ziphone.org/

Step 3. Open up the Ziphone program and hit jailbreak.. (make sure you hit the option next to it that says ipod touch).

Step 5. It will install and cause your ipod to restart.

Step 6. You will see your ipod start doing weird things.. Thats OK.

Step 7. When it is finished you will see an app called "Installer" on your main screen.

Step 8. You can open up installer and find a bunch of cool apps to install and play around with.

Step 9. Download the app called Customize in installer

Please note I know that most of your are thinking.. "Most people have upgraded to 2.0 why would i want to stay on 1.1.3/1.1.4?"
Well i have an answer to this. Why would you rather upgrade to 2.0 and get the app store but have to pay for all the good apps?
Why wouldnt you rather get them all for free + get a ton more than the app store has? Well that is my answer to this FAQ.

 

Terrible guide. It seems like you don't even have an ipod touch. If you were following the 2.0 update, Zibri currently doesn't have a jailbreaker compatible with 2.0. This will only work with 1.1.4 and below. The current jailbreaking being used for 2.0 is WinPwn. But now both of these have become useless as apple just released 2.0.1. By the way, if your wondering how I know so much, its because I keep up to date with jailbreaking my ipod touch.

Hevenlord i didnt say this guide is for people with a 2.0 update... And yes i do have an ipod touch.
