Watchout: New eGold Phishing Mails

Do not click that link. I almost fell for it and entered everything. Luckly, I entered wrong password and it still got me inside. Then I remembered that I entered wrong password and figured out. Once inside it asks for your email address connected with egold and asks for the email's password too.

Just a heads up!

i got this yesterday but i dont use my e-gold account so i didnt worry about filling it out lol.

 

april 30rd 2007, doubt it's an english speaking person, hard to believe. They should have written April 30th 2007, damn n00b scammers ._.

 

That mail looks disturbingly real..
I suspect this is a targeted mail, meaning they actually pick out victims from sites like sythe. People of whom they KNOW have e-gold.
It's not one of those "send to 10,000 letter combinations" e-mails.

If you want to prevent these mails, use a different email for e-gold and online banking than the one you use for your sythe/online trades.
Should make it next to impossible for conartists like these to reach you, provided you keep that e-mail a secret to unessential people.
