    Using Gyazo Tutorial - Easy/High quality Screenshots. [ Must Read/FREE ]

Looking around the forums it appears many users don't know how to upload screenshots to Sythe, instead they leave links. This can be very off putting and doesn't look as professional. I've come up with a 'Short' Guide on how to use the fantastic Gyazo software application, I hope you enjoy it and hope it helps you! Thanks... The guide as follows:

Gyazo is a FREE piece of software that allows you to take a screenshot really really easily! This is useful when making threads which contain images that you need to obtain yourself, such as selling an account.

I use Gyazo all the time, whether it being to show a friend an image, or when I'm selling an account here on Sythe. It's very simple and easy to use, and takes almost no time to install!

(Please skip to "How to Install & use" if you don't want to read the below, and just want to get the instally bit!)
Scroll down further if you want to know how to upload images to the forums instead of those pesky links!

    Why use Gyazo?

    • As I've said previously, Gyazo is FREE software
    • Quick and easy Installation process
    • Easy to use once installed
    • Gives URL links to the image you just screen shotted
    • MUCH faster than using paint etc. as you don't have to crop!

Will Gyazo harm my computer in any way?

    • NO. The answer is as simple as that. Gyazo is a very small piece of software, and has great reviews! Look online if you don't believe me...

Can I use Gyazo on my Mac or Linux computer?

    • YES! Gyazo supports: Windows2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, MAC & Linux!

Can I double your money on RuneScape because I made this awesome guide?

    • Unfortunately the answer is no... I'd love to be one of those cool kids that logs into a world at the G.E and stands there doubling peoples money. But I really don't have the money right now, I have no idea how they do it themselves...

    How To Install & Use:

    1. First off you will need to go to www.Google.com and search for 'Gyazo'. It should be the top link, or just go here: http://gyazo.com/

    2. Picking your OS for installation: You will then see a screen like the one below:
If you have Windows chose Windows, if you have... Do I need to really say this?

    3. Once downloaded you will need to complete the Gyazo setup wizard:

    4. Done! You've just installed Gyazo! I recommend pinning Gyazo to your bottom task bar (if you're on Windows) or on your 'Hot bar' on a MAC (I think it's called a hot bar, you know the scrolly bar at the bottom? THAT!) Gyazo will have the little picture that looks like this below:

    5. Using Gyazo! Let's get onto the part where we actually use the software we've just downloaded... Okay. If you have it in your task bar at the bottom if you're running Windows like in the picture above then simply click on the Gyazo application.
You select the area of the screen you want to Screen shot by dragging the mouse, the application will then open up the area of the screen you just screen shotted in a URL in your browser.

    6. Simply right click on the image and click "Save as" and then save it to the destination of your choice! It really is as simple as that. You've just accomplished glory. You are the man! (or woman... Awks). But seriously you can now take awesome screenshots without going through the hassle of using paint :)

If you want to Upload your image to the forums then please carry on reading...

To do this you will need to use an Image hosting site. I recommend two sites to do this...
    1. www.tinypic.com
    2. www.imageshack.us

Both are great sites to use, with tinypic you have to enter words on a screen to prove you're not a robot. And with Imageshack you have to create an account and log in when you wish to upload. Both are very simple procedures so use whichever you wish. I personally use Tinypic as I find it easier to use, but I used to use Imageshack so just use whichever!

For this example we're going to use Tinypic. Go to www.tinypic.com and click 'Chose file'. Chose your file and then hit upload. There are some more options on the screen but to do this just follow the steps I said, if any of the other options excite you then please... feel free to click them.

Once you've clicked upload now you will need to enter some verification text, which is really easy to read and understand so shouldn't take you longer than 10 minutes... just kidding should take you no longer than 10 seconds!
Once you've done that you will be brought to a funky looking screen like this:

You will need to copy and paste the code which I've kindly highlighted in red. With this code copied you then need to go to the forums and paste the code in the white box where you type... just like this:

And you're done! Your image will display in your post and you're good to go :)

I really hope this guide helped, it took me about 45 minutes to put together, yes all by myself! I hope it's easy to understand, and now you can upload some kick ass screenshots! Hopefully to help you guys and girls out! Leaving a 'Thank you' below would be nice if you did find it useful!

Those two image uploading sites are okay, but preferably "imgur" is the best; as it's more simple to use than the ones you have suggested.

Make the overall text smaller as to me it looks to big, also in your closing paragraph don't make it so big and bold, a simple conclusion to the guide would be fine instead of justifying that Gyazo didn't pay you.

Overall the guide is good and useful for newbies.

Nice guide. I use puush though, it instantly uploads any picture you take. It also saves a local copy of the image.

Thanks =) I'm considering making more guides soon... Probably with the same structure, but on different things. Maybe some RS guides, or stuff I generally know a lot about. What do you think?

The guide is good, admittedly. However, it creates unnecessary work. You can use [IMG]
