[RSGP] Buying Poster-Maker [25m+]

I need a poster before this coming Friday (not today, but the coming one), and yes BEFORE this Friday.

Looking for experienced poster makers.

Requirements:

- Advanced GFX'ers
- Must be able to choose a nice mix/blend of colors, no ugly colors and nothing of the clown/circus sort of colors
- Must be good in abstract-making, since most of it will focus on "designing" rather than using "real" or "graphics" to display information

Here is what I need:

A brief summary, we are hosting a "movie night" at our school every night to fund-raise some money for the upcoming events. What I need is a very colorful, eye-catching poster. Mostly abstract designing, you can/may include some real life pictures but make SURE they BLEND in with the abstract designing to look professional.

I only want professionals, I don't want a poster made by some 8th grader, I want some real professionals who have years of experience on graphics.

I want the words "Human Rights Club Presents You..." near the top-half of the poster, position is up to your imagination. Creativity counts.

And also the words "Friday Movies" to be included right below the one on the top or anywhere in the lower half of the poster (please exclude quotation marks obviously, just the words inside)

Poster MUST be A4 size. Or any size smaller than that, try to make use of the space, no larger than A4 thanks, if you can use space to the smallest and still make an efficient eye-catching poster, you'll be proud of yourself and your work will obviously be shown around my school including your "nickname" or your real name if you wish and of course be paid RSGP

*Please note the words "Friday Movies" might be subject to change and you must be ready to change these words if there's any changes to our "event title"

This is all for now, please start making your posters! I'll be paying up to 25m for a good looking one or more if you surprise me in elements I've never seen before

I could knock this out in a couple of hours after class today, because this is one of my specialties.

What kind of movies are you showing? Because I am a little prone to using 'retro' looking colors.

 

Mostly ACTION movies, adventure movies

Definitely NOT sad/romantic movies... That is why in the update section, you should see no PINK in capitals.

What method are you going to be using to print this?

 

Printer. Paper. A4 size or less. I'll contact with the team leader, and see what he got. For now, it's printer, paper, A4 or less

 

Ehh..... Well that is going to be difficult to work around....

 

I sensed it from the start... especially asking for so much things and requiring this and that... yes, this is gonna be tough... but Sythe's graphics people... I'm sure they are up for anything

 

But try not to think about it too much, create the best graphic quality poster you can now. Don't think too much. Thinking too much often leads to you to cross sections in your life, and that would be way of a "trouble" so you wanna pretend you don't know anything, and head straight for your goal

 

What is your definition of abstract? I am working on something, but I am not sure if it is what you want to call abstract.

 

My definition of abstract would be something simple. Nothing complicated, something more of a "design" or "pattern", something that starts with something simple, using shapes, arrows, the most basic of all elements, but instead of primitive shapes and arrows, "evolve" them into a 3D sort of like, more modern, more advanced, more "eye-catching" than the basic using-a-pencil-to-draw-shapes thingy.

 

And yep, abstract designing in this so called project would be the main idea and probably the hardest to grasp on, the fonts need to go well with the "background" too, so once you've got the background, the fonts need to match up and blend in too.

 

Good, I didn't know if you meant cubism abstract. I am working with shapes and things. I will show you in a minute what I have.
