Will I ever find what I'm looking for? :s

So, as 484+ of you know, I've been looking for a bunny ear/ Scythe account for, meh, over a week now. At first, it was nice- there were ehh.. somewhat frequent offers- But now, not so much. I've run into some people who simply wouldn't trade without removing recoveries, and blah blah...

The questions are, I suppose: Sythe [forum], Do you think I will find what I'm looking for? Am I being too specific? What can I do to make my thread more attractive? And, lastly, how cautious should I be with offers that DO come?

I could use some feedback, and maybe some assistance making my thread more appealing. I'm not used to being on forums, and I'm playing it by ear.

If you weren't bored to tears by that, here is WHY I want that type of account.

Simply this: I want a nice account with some special items on it that I will never have the option to sell, and I want to create some beautiful piece of art out of a nooby old account that hasn't received much love. I want to train one of these accounts, by hand, and create a godsword pure, or something like it..

Any support, feedback, and suggestions- That are respectful- Will be appreciated. If I am EVER in the wrong section, please tell me politely, and I'll love you forever

Well, be a little patient and you'll find the perfect account. Also, always do background searching on the seller as these accounts are most of the time always recovered and it would be even better if a trusted person sold you one. I'm sure you'll find an account with your desires. Just, you'll have to wait. Keep a thread with your desire up and making it appealing and neat always helps tbh.

Well, don't overwork it. I doubt it matters that much. Just have good grammar and kinda be straight forward but with your points clearly stated, no one wants to read long paragraphs and it's a downfall when someone clicks on your thread, it's more likely, they wont bother reading. Also pick a nice writing style, always helps me.

 

Normally low lvl accounts with scythe/ears are rarer and hence a little more expensive as well.

I remember that after Free Trade came out a bunch of people popped out of nowhere selling large collections of ears/scythe accounts. Maybe you could look through a few pages of the other accounts section in the hopes of finding one of those threads where the seller had like 10 accounts. Maybe if you contact the seller you will get lucky and find that he has one account left

 

That is true, and to add on top of that the things your looking for in the account make it x10 more rare, most of these accounts have been made into mains, or aren't anymore able to be turned into pures.

Use a MM !

 

Always! I think Kabal is one of the best free MM's out there ^,^ Once I had someone refuse to use him, and seeeemingly attempt to scam me- but I won't go there ^,^ I abide by the rule of thumb. I'm buying the account. You follow my rules. I wouldn't even go first on an account sale, I'd demand to use a free MM of my choosing- and, honestly, if they wouldn't agree to use Kabal, they're either new or trying to scam me. Newness can be cured by a simple visit to Kabal's thread. Scammingness I combat by being a dick. If they wanted to use an OMM, I'm wonderful with that! But we had better come to a conclusion about the fees- as unless it's a GODLY account I'm not interested in loosing 2-10m extra X D And I'm not going first to anyone with less than 200 vouches on a trade like this.

Edit: Oh, and I will make people wait for their recoveries to dissolve. Some people don't like that, but if they were serious about selling me the account, it wouldn't be a problem.

their will always be the risk of loseing the account

but from the recoveries ive made to my friends account nothing beats the email as it dosent have the necessity to have the recoveries just send the email straight away and your in.

 

So, are you saying I should request the email be set to my email before I purchase the account? Would anyone go for that, or does that sound dodgy?

Its not even being to picky, but you have to find the right seller. You don't want to buy one that is going to get recovered.

 

Hrmm.. Well, I have an offer I'm looking at right now for an account with 30 def and 11 prayer- And it looks pretty good to me right now. The guy has low postcountage, and only one vouch, although he's been on sythe for over a year. I'm more than interested, if he'll work with me on recoveries, and especially if he'll register an email to my name before I purchase the account. Is registering an email to my name something I should be looking at? It's an idea, but I've not heard of it done before- would it be good? ^,^

 

I recommend ONLY buying from very trusted members....like atleast 50+ vouches. Otherwise you'll probably get recovered.
