What chaotic should I get first?

This is not me discussing the stats of rapier vs longsword vs maul...

I just want to know what people thing is a good first time chaotic. I'm a pure so I do a lot PvP but I also do a lot of bossing. My friend said that rapier is a good first pick for a chaotic but I just wanted some more opinions. I'm leaning towards rapier/bow but I'm just not sure what to get.

What do you guys think?

 

I suggest a chaotic maul, you do Pvp and bossing so maul would be best fit for you.

 

Rapier is the most versatile and consistent of the three.

 

Good for PvPing but as he said he does bossing too, i reckon chaotic maul would sort his needs the best, great for Pvp and bossing.

Rapier - PVM
Maul - PVP

 

Depending on the type of pvping you're doing, maul is better than rapier. Rapier is also rather efficient against bosses though, so I'd value it more.

Rapier is better against mystic and other cloth armours.
Maul is better against 1v1 in edge or other platebodies.

 

I'm not really impressed with the maul so I was gonna stay away from that. =/ I still got time to decide but it looks like it will be rapier.

what im doing is rapier/maul/cls got rapier and maul already and about 130k tokens off of cls then ima start getting arcane stream then maybe staff . this is on my pure acc lvl 71 with 90 dung atm

 

Choatic maul is horrible for bosisng
reaiper is best for him

 

Go with Rapier. Maul may be better in certain PvP situations, but CR will always outdo it in PvM while still maintaining great PvP ability.

 

If you have 80 defence, get the chaotic kiteshield. Fuckin tankability right there with melee and range absorption
