Guide on RSbot for Linux (Ubuntu)

Here is a quick guide I made up, I will try to get pics soon.
But here you go these are one of the many ways to get Rsbot running on ubuntu.

1.Enable Multiverse software sounces (System>Administration>Software Sources)
2.Open up a Terminal window(Applications>Accessories>Terminal)
3.Type in and install

4.Type in and install

5.Download RSbot by typing this in a terminal window:

This will be saved in your Home Folder as trunk.
6.Go into the folder and rename Run Non-Members.sh and Run Members.sh to runnonmembers.sh and runmembers.sh
7.Open another Terminal window and cd to the folder your bot is in

8.Type in a Terminal window again (Caps do matter)

9.Open a Terminal window,cd to the RSbot folder and type in

Theres a bunch of shit you can do with permissions and other little things but I just whipped up a quick guide.

 

Very nice guide. I don't use Linux but somebody who does is probably very happy.

it asks for password and username too
