Regarding Donation Perks [Slight change in perks]

If it's easily done then I can't see no reason why not, but it does fall under giving mod powers to donators. There isn't really any more potential for abuse than there is with signatures or avatars, anyway.

 

I change some UT's. But it's a piss off when everyone wants to keep changing them. They're not that important, it's just an extra feature. Can't you just pick one and stick with it?

 

Maybe add a rule only 1 change per 3 or 6 months?

 

Thats basically the problem. We want to be able to control everyones UT so people don't put stupid shit. Plus, why do you need to change it 490329430 times a day? Jesus.

 

Maybe eve somebody have a different mood and they want to express it with their UT.​

 

They paid $50+ they deserve to change it once every often.
I think it's reasonable for people to change it themselves since they did donate, that's the only thing of me stopping donating more, I can't be bothered Pming someone everyone everytime I want a change, I'd just rather do it myself when I feel like it. At least give globals the right to change it.

 

It's actually not giving mod power to normal users, it's giving admin powers to normal users.
It should be easy to do, as admins can change from their profile, but I don't think it will be accepted.

 

Honestly don't see why not...I don't think (well I hope not) that people who donated $100+ won't want to put anything bad, and risk getting banned.

How many $100+ donators are there in total you think? 20?

Staff aren't allowed to change their own usertitle, so members definitely aren't going to be allowed. Reason being you're allowed HTML and you can do some bad things with HTML. We've begged Matthew to code a script so you're only allowed BB Code, but he said there isn't any point because he responds to requests quite quickly.

 

Its possible without affecting mod powers, but because its mod power, no support. Leave it to them.​

Matthew should do it. 100 $ is a Lot of money. THe BB code idea sounds good.

 

But Matthew generally responds to requests quite quickly. So, why would he take time out to code something which doesn't necessarily need to be changed/added.

 

My request was done within 24 hrs and probably much less then that.

 

Support, Actually they would most likely get more donations :O
