Room Renovation

so today i decided to pimp out my room. I started by taking off a gay little curtain-type tihng the previous owners have isntalled on the upper window, which you can see is now clear in the picture. My bed used to stand erpendicular to where it is now, with a headboard that I also took off because it made noises every time I moved. I also put my dresser in the closet, freeing up a lot of space.
Now I need some ideas as to what to do with this room. i was thinking of getting a big bag chair (or whatever you call it), or some other type of furniture in the empty space. Also for my closet I was thinking of removing the door and putting up beads in the doorway.
The reason I am posting here is because I need some fresh ideas :laugh:

I suggest this:

Move your bed so it's parallel to the window. Then add a sofa or large beanbag (if you have enough money) to place facing the TV. Put the drawers (small table or w/e) against the west OR east wall there's more room for the bed. Add a darker shade of curtains for the windows so the light isn't too harmful and/or bright.

Paint the room whatever color you like but white is just too plain.

I think I will get a beanbag, and get beads for the closet entrance (i took the door off just now).

 

Keep things as simple as possible, and give your walls a nice color, like a very light blue.

 

I must say, I love your room. Mine doesn't look nearly as good/clean. Also, lol @ the Guy Fawkes mask in your closet.

 

You have a nice room, I would suggest the following:
*Paint it a different color
*Take down the Spongbob/Sonic/some of the other posters if you plan on getting laid
*Hang a few decent pictures
*Organize your stuff on your desk etc.

I dig the cultural items you have hung up, the boomerang etc. I have one similar from Austrailia. GL

Hmm you should take down the posters and stuff. Maybe organize the little shelf thing on the wall opposite from your bed. Doesn't seem to be anywhere to sit other than the bed/at the desk. You should move your bed in a way that will allow for a small couch/loveseat to face the TV/Wii.
