    [Guide] How to Hide Folders on Windows XP. [Guide]

    Guide on How to Hide Folders on your Windows XP Computer.

    Step One.


    Create a Folder anywhere on your computer. It dosen't have to be inside another folder this can be done on the desktop aswell.

    Step Two.

    Right click the folder and click 'Properties'.

    Step Three.


    Click the 'Hidden' Box then click okay.

    Then your folder should look like this.

    Step Four.

    Click 'Tools' Then click 'Folder Options'

    Step Five.

    Click the 'View' Tab on Folder Options and then click 'Do not show Hidden Files or Folders' Then Click Okay.

    Step Six and Final Step.

    Right click anywhere beside the folder then click Refresh and your folder should disappear.

    To undo the process click Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files and folders.
    Then right click the folder and click properties and untick the Hidden box.

    NOTE: This is for Windows XP Model computers only..
