Sticky Rare Usernames - URL Change Scam

I think that one of the most used rare username scams thats been going around is this URL change technique. This would be a good sticky in the blackmarkett area.

I think it'll be useful for people to see this, and would persuade them more to ask the seller for ingame verification.

So you basically just chose to show a bunch of scammers how to improve their scamming techniques, and how regular users can start scamming? Nice >_>

Instead of showing people how to scam, make a guide on how NOT to get scammed by people using this method. Then we'll consider stickying it.

Edit2: My internet cut off moments before I could post the last edit, and it just now turned back on. Sorry for the delay.

 

Scammers could easily save the website code and edit the username in it too. They could also use Photoshop and edit it. It is up to the buyer to go first to them without seeing the account on Runescape.

 

Oh sick now i can make a phisher!!!!!

Yeah because everyone didn't already know this. Only a moron would get scammed by someone using their CREATION picture as proof of them owning the account.

 

Not too many people know this but anyone who buys an account on 1 picture alone and no verification deserves to be scammed.
