Realization of the World and my surroundings: re-evaluating the way i live.

So, i've been gone for 5 days. The judge decided he wanted to lock me in a room with a toilet, sink, window(with 49 screws by the way), and a bed for 23 hours a day for 5 days. It took me 5 days to realize prison is probably alot worse. It was pretty bad for me while i was their because i have alot of gang tattoos on my forearm. (I'm talking about Alexander Detention Center). My room smelled like dried spit, i barely got a shower and i had really long hair that came below my eyes so it was messy and i smelled bad. I failed a drug test for cocaine and marijuana. I'm already living the life of a college student and im only 15. I went to detention for punching my mom and fracturing her cheekbone. That's the bad part.

    The good part:

I've excepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. Got out of the gang. Have a closer relationship with my mom. Turned over a popular multi-million dollar "Weed Den" that was downtown to the sherriff's office. DO NOT smoke weed. DO NOT drink. DO NOT play video games anymore, and decided i'm not going to have sex anymore until im married and live a life as a normal human being. I enjoy coming on Sythe and associating with the people here so as long as this website is around, and you guys let me around i'm here to input my opinion on anything related to politics. :) Daddys back :)

This is proof that the justice system works!

I'm glad that you've realised that drugs are bad (I don't think weed is,
but I think it's better not to take any drugs at all) and that gangs are bad.

I hope you go on to lead a happier, healthier life!

No it's not, just because one person learned, that automatically means everyone will?

So you accepted Jesus Christ because something bad happened to you? ... I'd like to see your input/reasoning in the current "Do you believe in God" thread in Something for All.

As for the issue at hand, it was your fault that happened to you, only thing you can do is get on with life I guess.

Heheh, sorry but I agree with Alternative Illusion on this one. In my opinion that was low, below the belt low. Absolutely dishonourable.

Why'd you punch your mum in the first place? Fuckin'ell...
At least you're on the other side of the tracks now, I guess
You don't need jesus or any god to live a healthy, moral life, you know. Just be decent to your fellow man and have compassion.

Accepting Jesus Christ as your "savior" is a cop out. It's just something you can use to stop yourself from doing bad things, but in the end it's up to you because after all, he doesn't necessarily exist. Believing in him is great, but you need to believe that you can change by your self, not with some mythical man.

Sounds like quite an improvement you have in store for you, but remember, whether or not you choose to have faith in him, it will be you that turns yourself around, not Jesus.

You guys need to stop flaming him, for finding something that keeps him straight in life. Whether its a religion, hobby, sport, or etc. As long as it keeps you out of trouble its good.

You can say that over the internet but come to

239 hepler road mocksville, NCand say it to my face. I gaurentee i blow your head clean off your shoulders and give my car a new candy red paint job with your blood you insignificant fat prick.

    EDIT
To: Sawn- I accepted Jesus as my savior because all i had for 23 hours a day was a new testament bible, and saw life could be better when i die ratehr then dwelling on what i've sinned for be forgiven and move on.

I laughed. The Justice System does absolutely nothing to rehabilitate anyone. If your definition of rehabilitation is ceasing out of fear, then perhaps. He decided to change his life for the wrong reasons.

Aw, leave him with his faith :(. Now is not the time for him to stop using that crutch. Ignorance is bliss at the present time. The truth about that source of human comfort isn't going to be removed for a long while.

I live in NC too. Near Winston-Salem actually. I'm not going to fight you. Your little comment there showed how much "straightening up" and "finding Jesus" changed your life. I'm pretty good at fighting and would be confident I would win in an environment without guns or knives, but I only fight for fun and sport. I can't trust you to do this though, so no thanks.

I'm not getting this though. You beat up your own mother, are a part of a gang, but 5 days in a little room is too much for you to handle? Shut up. You're a punk ass kid trying to look like a badass. You changed nothing. Right away you resort to threatening me. Ratting out a "weed den" is really low too. I hope someone finds out what you did and gives you the ass beating you deserve to knock you back a notch. Save the ego trip.

I don't like to start trouble here, but you are an arrogant attention whore. Talking like this is the only way to get through to people like you.

It's good to know that you've taken the straight and narrow. However, hitting your mother is something a pussy would do. (No offence)

I'm glad it only took you 5 days to get away from drugs. I agree that Marijuana isn't that bad, but since you've gotten into cocaine then I wouldn't suggest going back to weed because you could move up to hardcore shit again. This reminds me of the guy who found the crip gang and he became a Christian and a good person, but he was on death row.
