$25.00 Donator Rank Benefits

I think the $25's should get user title and $50 should be enhanced, then we could just figure out like $75 could be enhanced user title. Just saying because i want to donate $25 but it has no extra benefits, so if $25 was user title then more people would donate since an extra benefit is at a lower price. Increase donation profits by a bit.

 

Although I have no say in this, I would have to agree with you.

There are certain things which discourage users to donate much, as you gain the extra benefits from donating an extra $45.00. (That is, if you donate $5.00, etc.) At getting some type of benefit at $25.00, then more Users would most likely want to donate to gain that status.

As we see on the Sythe Ranks list in the General Discussion Section, there are 'too many to list' for $5.00 donator ranks. Perhaps that may be changed.

Why should you get perks? You are donating for the simple fact of donating, not getting something in return.

If it were like this, we would call it "Buying"

 

I agree since there isn't much motivation to donate past $5 unless your planning on going for $50 (I know your supposed to do it out of good nature but you know Sythe members ).

No, simply because of what TJ said, it will result in people only donating to have a cool looking name.
Then every other person on Sythe's name are going to be colourful.

 

And what is wrong with people donating to get features?
Colorful Usernames = Happy users
More Donations = Happy Mr Sythe

Although I think the colorful username should be a $75, the User title should be $25, With the colorful username at $75, with your own customised rank at $100. There should be a pip for $50 though.

 

I think the only people who'd be against this, are the people that don't ever plan on donating themselves.

I agree with this. It doesn't make sense to have the $5 donation be the same as the $25.

 

As stated above, you're donating to help out Sythe not look cooler/more trusted. The ranks that are implemented should stay the way they are.

Yes, but I'm sure that many more $25 donations would be made if there were benefits, which helps out the site.

You donate more but what's the perks if you can get the same for a lower amount?

I mean it helps the community but wheres the personal aspect for motivation?

I am content on how it is now. The current system gives motivation to donate higher amounts of money.
