Hardware modding my iPhone.

I got a new iphone 3g so I decided to do something constructive with my old one. So I decided to replace the back on it with a gold one, and mod the camera to make it take macro pictures.

Taking it apart:

I am not done yet, as I still need to take the railings off the old back and glue them to the gold one.

I think this is a nice job, i've been thinking of doing something similar, but i'd rather just buy a sciphone, because there 150, and way better...

Well I wanted to do the glowing back apple mod but it's waay too hard to do. And lilly you retard you don't even understand what I did.

It looks nice but I personally would leave the stock back on there as it looks better than the two colours.

 

i think the gold one is too fake. but yea its better than ur scratched up silver one

 

I dont like the gold colour, but great non-the-less.

 

The back of the first-gen iphone is butt-ugly. Why they made two thirds of it silver and one third black is beyond me...

 

well that's the reason I turned it to gold
