Changing Your Messenger Plus Skin/Color Scheme

How to change your messenger plus skin.
What this guide will teach you is basically how to change the skin and color scheme of Messenger plus. It’s very simple and I will explain all the important steps.

    Pic1

First thing you need to do is, Click the Plus! Button that is located in the navigation bar at the top of the Messenger screen. Once you have clicked this another menu will appear. On this menu you will see an option “Preferences…” When you click this the following window will appear. [IMG]
Click the “Customize Tab” the one that has a black rectangle around it in the above picture. Once you have clicked this the options on the left will change.
From the options on the left select the “Skins” button and you will be given some options in the middle of the screen. In the middle there is a hyperlink “Visit the online database and download new skins..” Click this and you will be taken to the skins database.
There are many skins to choose from on this website. For demonstrational purposes I will be using a skin from the Stylish section. So click on the “Stylish” category as show below. [IMG]
Once you have entered the category a list of skins will appear you can choose any of the below, but I will be choosing “Fiber Carbon”.

Click the download button and your download options will open as usual. Click Ok and the download will begin.

Once the download has finished, go to the directory where you have downloaded it too. Double click on the file and it will open a dialog box. Max sure the option “Enable this skin after import” is ticked. Just click import and another dialog box will open. Pic8 [IMG]

Once you click ok in the dialog box and Windows live messenger will be restarted.
When it has restarted your skin will be changed to the selected skin.

Nice guide man. It's not greatly set out tbh. The last picture is too big. You should of cropped it a little bit. But overall I give you 9/10.

Off topic: Where am I on your contact lists? I'm hoping Sythe gods :p.

    Great Guide. 10/10

I loved the Pictures, and the guide is very helpful.

Very easy to understand, and has a lot of detail.

If you have that "script" button there it should work. But its not hard to download and install PLUS.

Very nice and simple, easy to follow xD

Hmm, only problem is with google chrome it's difficult to read on my screen since I have to keep scrolling, since the text is centered. Ah well :p great content!
