yo i worked at target for 2 days... the 1st day the showed us the camera room... dont even try it. u wont make it out, also will ruin your record. just buy is Target has #1 security I seen it in person.

If you have to get it registered the best thing TO do is change the barcode to maybe change the price? Not really sure if you can but that would be my best bet..........I mean think about it why go for the down and dirty when you can be the smarter one and find their weakness. The only thing you can tamper(maybe) would be the barcodes. What you would have to do is a bit of recon.

First off don't go in there thinking you can outsmart Target just by scratching a code or stealing the item itself. What you would have to do is actually buy one yourself, one for recon purposes. Just watch what they do, if they have to input something or they just have to run it down the barcode scanner. Now whichever one there is, you might have to come back for a second buying. Just to see if the routine is different. Also I'm not sure but they might have some sort of number or something yea? Just remember everything about the transaction.

This means looking at the screen for what it says, which could give you an idea somewhere. Look at the cards themselves for any distinguishing marks, like I've said numbers or something that change from card to card. Also if there is a code that the cashier has to put in after you buy it, your best bet would be to go there closing hours when everyone's tired and where you have the most likely success in maybe getting a peak at what s/he does.

Get the card off the shelf and get a game off the shelf. walk to a different area of the store and while you are walking scratch it off as you are doing it but dont look at it when doing it. have a pen and paper ready, go to a section with no cameras and write the code down or you could call your friend or answering machine and leave a message to him/ the machine

 

Instead of causing alot of fuss over nothing buy one =/

tbh, i dont necessarily support stealing, let alone its like what $5?, but if your going to do it id recommend #4 probably.

They don't just leave them on a shelf, they're behind the counter.
In the case of a mentally challenged shopkeeper who leaves them in the open, they'll need to be activated anyway..

So no, you won't be able to steal one unless you work there.

And please don't try to change the barcodes if you find a shopkeeper who leaves them out. One - plastic cards don't even have removable barcodes, and two - they have to look at the price of it anyway on the screen, which also displays the name of the item.

Being a thief (such a dirty word XD) for about 2-3 years you learn this kind of stuff. I'd say steal a WoW prepay card and swap it for a few Runescape ones. For god knows what reason game places usually leave WoW cards out in the open.

 

i am pretty sure they wont accept a scratched off game code.

 

1: get a job as a cashier at target
2: scan a few dozen cards for yourself, bag em & put em behind the register (if questioned say you bought them for yourself) & take them home when you leave work
3: quit working at target & never go back again
