How To Connect Your Xbox 360 To The Internet Via A Laptop/Computer

Wanted to connect your Xbox 360 to a wireless network in your home? Well, your reading the right guide, this will show you how to connect your Xbox 360 to Xbox live using a laptop or desktop computer.

What you will need -

- Xbox 360
- Laptop/Desktop that is connected to the internet
- Ethernet cord to connect your Xbox to your laptop/desktop



First of all, make sure the ethernet cord is connected into your computer then plug it into your Xbox, Now we have to enable the connection so the Xbox is setup to connect you will do this by doing the following

Start >



Control Panel >



Network Connections >



Right Click/Properties >




Check The First Box >



Now reboot both your'e laptop and your Xbox make sure that they are connected via a ethernet cable, and you should be good to go. Any quesions please post. Please post ratings out of /10, Thanks

If you don't have anything constructive to say, then don't say it at all. It's not my fault that you think your so "smart" and just have to connect a cord from your xbox to your computer, it isn't. Anyway not everyone spends as much time at the computer as you.

 

dude... u dont need your computer is you have a modem... your just making it harder.. im just saying...

 

Ah duh, say your router is 20metres accros the ouse + ur laptop has wlan, you connect the xbox through the wireless conection and there you have your wireless connection through your xbox.

 

this is the same guide as someone else posted recently, witht he same outcome, except it has a different title.

 

I purposley done this. That guide was bs, it had barely enough info and no pictures. Guy's don't bother commenting if your gonna be gay about it.
