How To Speed Up Firefox

This Tut will teach you how to speed up Firefox to make browsing faster

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Find the following entries:

1. network.http.pipelining
2. network.http.proxy.pipelining
3. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests


2. Set the values for the following entries:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number 10-20, i use 20 because i have fast internet. This number is how many requests your browser will try to complete at once

3. Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This eliminates the delay for Firefox to act on your inputs and other info it receives

Modifying these configs might lead you to not working youtube ....
My firefox works incretible , but it don't launch youtube, so i have to use opera .... ( yea IE , opera ! )

 

those configs have nothing to do with youtube.... only how many and how fast requests are processed.... im on youtube now

I've used it, and it works very well. Its a lot faster to use ff now
