Cigarettes?

It's true that (where I live) you MUST be 18 to buy cigarettes but can smoke them at any age.

The cops get pissed, but can't do anything unless your on school grounds.

*Note* I don't smoke/do drugs/drink *Note*

Hmm I would have to say WOW! You can some at any age? Thats insane and a ridiculous law. Who under the age of 13 REALLY understands what smoking does to you? In the end i think the government is just killing its future generations by letting them smoke at any age.

I don't smoke because i've seen what it has done to my mom, and almost to my dad.

In my country, if You're under 18, it's against the law to buy, possess and smoke cigarettes, luckily.

 

Actually it's school policy that you can't smoke in school. I live in Chicago, IL. You get suspended if you get caught smoking.

 

well this is a interesting point.

they have done it to dis-encourage children

but now its getting beyond the point

they just do it anyway

 

I love in Massachusetts (USA) by the way, I don't mind it not being a rule, because only a few kids smoke, but I asked around, and it's not a law in many surrounding towns.

i'n my country you need to be away atleast with 50 mfrom school to smoke . but everyone smoke jsut around the corner (like 10% of school- 150 poeple)

Also, 150 people is about 40% of my school.
