    Ray Rice won his appeal?

What he did was WAY wrong and the FIRST time he should have been suspended for the FULL year. but the NFL has a double jeopardy kind of clause so they can't punish him TWICE for the same crime which is what they did.

At the end of the day it's the NFL's fault for not punishing him the first time around.

    Ray Rice won his appeal?

He won his appeal based on double jeopardy, if his initial suspension was for the full year he would not have won.

edit: Also, pure speculation and hearsay, apparently Ray Rice told Goodell what happened in FULL detail and only until the media outcry did he act (again)

It's goodell's fault. But I honestly don't know any team that will sign him anyway.

Yes AP is still suspended but for one the circumstance is different. The second issue is Ray Rice was already punished for his offense they can't punish him for his offense twice just because they messed up the first time.

0mg pop your signature is far too gigantic change that please. Also I think it's a fair verdict at this point. They already punished him once. He didn't mislead them or anything thus the onus is on them to get all the facts before suspending him to ensure this situation doesn't happen. Another thing is he and his wife are clearly happy now except for the fact their life is being complicated by him not having a job thus it only makes sense that if she has forgiven him the rest of the world should too. He didn't hit them he hit her.

He doesn't need to suffer collateral punishment.

    Moved to sports.

    Goodell is a retard.

I still think he'll get picked up by a team though, RBs are often injured and someone looking to make a push into the playoffs will likely need his help - will probably be a cheap pick-up too.

He is already stirring major interest, any playoff bound team could use the push. As per his crime, it was horrible but he brings money to the sport and that is all that really matters to the NFL.

He deserves a second chance even though what he did was awful. It was a 30 second notion in his life. They treated this right.

they did the right thing, plus he was already punished for the same crime.

he'll get picked up by some team that needs a push to the play-offs

    Ray Rice won his appeal?

People are making the Ray Rice thing such a big deal, but even his wife wants to move on. Everyone seems to be too involved with Rice's personal life. I would actually be happy to see Rice get a second chance if someone picks him up, preferably Chargers since their RB game is very weak atm

    Ray Rice won his appeal?

Im not really a fan of american football but i know what he did was very wrong and i dont condone it at all.

But arent we all entitled to a second chance barming in mind that potentially its this persons livelihood in debate. The fact that his wife wants to move on is also another telling fact.
