wtf happened to him? He was an average-above average quarterback for a while, then subpar, but recently he's been playing downright shit. Mass interceptions, missed throws, misreading plays and miscommunication with receivers. Is he just getting old, or was there a big injury I somehow missed?

Also the cowboys won, so I'm in a good mood (I'm from TX)

Eli has always been like that. Even in his Sb winning years he made a ton of mistakes. He's of the Brett Favre ilk. High risk high reward playing.

At the end of the day it's gotten him 2 Super Bowls and he has stopped Brady from being EASILY considered the greatest qb to ever play the game of football.

Giants lost Cruz, too. Once they fix the defense, get Cruz back with Beckham, they will be back to winning tons of games. Eli will probably contend for another ring before he's done.

I highly disagree. Tom Coughlin seems to be making more mistakes than usual, and isn't making changes necessary. Rodgers-Cromartie isn't quite living up to the hype, and although Eli is high risk high reward, that doesn't account for him missing open wide receivers. The lines on both sides aren't anything special, and the run game usually grinds by as sub-par. Granted, this year they have been plagued by injuries on about every unit of their team, and Odell Beckham Jr is a godsend. with a 7-9 record last season, and a 3-8 so far this season, I believe we will see a great improvement next year. Also, the Giants upcoming schedule is against 5 crappy-average teams, with the only real contender being the Eagles. It's not a stretch to say they will end at 8-8 for the year.

Wait, I'm confused, you said you highly disagree then said you believe we will see a great improvement next year. That's basically exactly what I said, lol.

If you're disagreeing about Eli making mistakes even when they won the Super Bowl those two years, just go back and look at his stats and the schedule they played both years. Nobody in their right mind before either of those playoffs started would have picked the Giants to win it all.

Oh and another thing, DRC has always been overrated filth. He sucked ass in Philly too. Not surprising he's garbage.

I highly disagree with Eli making another superbowl run, but they will improve over their crappy performances as of late.

And I am inclined to agree, DRC can make plays, but I never understood what made people hype him up so much. He also seems like the type of guy to get arrested for something like beating his girl, or child (didn't see that coming from the legend AP)

Oh okay, well yeah, that was a bold prediction, the SB run. But the other 2 SB runs weren't expected...so if Eli pulled another one out of his ass, I wouldn't be surprised.

    And yup agree about DRC.

Even with the Patriots a clear favorite, and going for the first ever team to end undefeated (undefeated with 19 wins, not including Miami's undefeated run, as they didn't have as many games then), I somehow knew the Giants were gonna pull it off. The fingertip miracle catch was a gift from God to the Giants, and Eli had a superb receiving squad back then. In both of the Eli's bowls (both against the Pats) nobody saw it coming, and even when they reached the Bowl nobody expected them to win. That has to run out at some time, and I believe it has. IMO they won't reach another bowl under Eli, but crazier things have happened I suppose.

I blame the entire NYG team in general, not just Eli for his mistakes. Any quarterback looks good in a good team, take Alex Smith for example. Without the strong run and o-line, I don't even think he would be considered as a QB
