Staff have power to give clemency, they do it all the time unless it involves a user they don't like... If you are community involved (participate in events/conversation or try to keep community safe) a ban should be very last resort... High profile users shouldn't just be determined by how active someone used to be or how reputable their shops are...

Eh I was referring to his TWC, his ban I can understand haha this thread isn't just directed at ooga I just like syed hitting the nail on the hammer... This thread is mainly a comment on how stupid some staff members have been with decisions lately, you are like e only one other than Dave whom I have nothing bad to say about mainly cause you just stay away from those sort of decisions, but for example stuff as stupid as introducing a new rule that if you purchase stolen gold 3 times you get a 1 month ban yet if you post images of soft porn 1 time or even songs in a report it warrants a 1 month ban

Also ooga is a guy who finds peoples emails and gueses their obvious recovery questions and then gets labelled a hacker.... He is fine, the problem is how staff react to things he is involved in, he hangs out with the same trolls who have gotten away with the stuff he was busted for, and therefore has been around and will stay around for a long time, the only solution is to ignore him till he gets bored and goes to a different site but its hard to ignore him when anytime he does something the staff ends up temporarily banning a user which creates topic for discussion... I actually have a theory that he is a ploy set to increase site activity...

Anyways, fuck thinking you should get away with not gettin banned if you're a "High Profile" user. Everyone knows the damn rules. Don't like them? Leave sythe. Or don't complain when it's no ones fault but your own for getting banned.
